Their Origin Story
Pete Keating and The Renslow Trestle was formed in 2023 with the goal of creating and performing original music through the influences of early American blues, folk and jazz. They are comprised of members from past musical projects, including Pete Keating on guitar and vocals, John Koschnick on steel guitar and dobro and Harrison Keating on upright bass.
Their Music
The music and songwriting of Pete Keating and The Renslow Trestle is all about the embrace of the human experience, with a goal to get feet tapping and folks dancing with tones and rhythms found deep in our collective DNA. Their songwriting and style of performing revisits the roots of mid-century Americana, drawing inspiration from sources ranging anywhere from The Carter Family and Ramblin' Jack Elliott, to Etta James and Jeff Lynne.
